The land was bought with planning but with the help of the team at Barefoot, we detailed the original design to add some additional space and features.

Oak floors throughout the ground floor really helped in giving the kitchen and open plan living space some warmth, perfectly balancing the crisp white walls and blending with the oak worktops. With the sun scattering its rays through the roof light and bi-folds, the main living space really comes into its own.

Upstairs the vaulted ceilings in both the double bedrooms really gives a sense of openness. Both bedrooms benefit from large double windows with views across the valley and the South West facing garden.

On the exterior we went for a white render and timber fusion. Again the pale render and the warmth of the timber contrast well and maintain the overall scheme. The Timber structure framing the front door helps incorporate the 1st floor cantilever and adds a stylish finish to the main entrance way.
